I was a little nervous starting here, because I figured I might not fit in being so completely out-of-shape. But that turned out to be a totally unfounded fear. All of the trainers are super supportive, and you can see that they want to help their clients get healthier, not shame them. And it's a really fun environment to work out in, too. My endurance has increased, symptoms of my asthma have gone down, and I feel stronger mentally and physically. Once I addressed my diet and eliminated certain foods, I was able to lose 16 pounds!

My trainer, Jacob, is very dedicated to helping me reach my goal to complete a distance swim of 11 miles in the Willamette River in July of this year.
