Romans 8:18 says "I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us." When I read this passage I think of DELAYED GRATIFICATION. To truly accomplish something BIG it takes time along with faith in the process and what will come of it. That's not to say that there may be some blood, sweat and tears along the way as well.  Every worthwhile goal I've hit required suffering in the form of discipline and challenges I faced along the way. In our "quick fix" society, we find ourselves searching for INSTANT GRATIFICATION instead of DELAYED GRATIFICATION. Advertisements tease us with promises like... -Lose 30 pounds on 30 days, or

-Learn a language in just 2 weeks, or one of my all time favorites...
-Become an overnight millionaire in real estate without using any of your own money.

While these all sound good, they are just fairy tales.  Rarely do they lead to anything good.   I have found that A PROCESS always leads to good.  In my 26 years of working with people, those who achieve success have one common theme... they follow a PROCESS.

To achieve any glory, there is no "ancient Chinese secret."  It's all about creating a strong process that fosters the necessary habits you need for long term success. Let me give you an example.

One of our most stunning transformations in 2021 was Heidi. Heidi had put on weight during the COVID lockdown and had a specific goal to drop off the 30 pounds she had gained. We helped define a process of working out 4 times per week, getting in 6,000 steps and logging her food while staying on her eating plan 6 days of the week.  It was the process of a few key habits done over and over again that got her to her goal almost exactly on the day she had set to hit it. It wasn't flashy. It wasn't a long list of things to do. It was consistency and faith in her process. Fast forward 6 months and she has not gained back a single pound because she still has her faith. This has carried her through challenging work schedule changes, the demands of her daughter's soccer schedule, and just everyday life.  But she continues to follow her process and the weight has not come back on. Do you have a process for your fitness goals? Reply to this email to set up a Complimentary Success Session.  Here we will come up with a process so you can see long term success just like Heidi. The New Year is coming along with all the resolutions that fail by the end of January  - because there is no process.  Make 2022 your year to break the cycle and not only hit your goals but maintain them!

Dedicated to your success,

Erik Peacock
