Does this sound familiar?

You start working out and going to the gym daily but after awhile you see little or no movement on the scale.

Yes, you feel stronger, have more energy and endurance but your clothes aren't fitting differently and you don't see the changes in muscle tone you wanted to despite the fact you are killing yourself at the gym.

How frustrating!

The truth is..... exercise is vitally important for health and weight loss.  Nutrition accounts for 80% of your results from your weight loss plan.

Why is this?

Once you get your workout done you can check that box for the day.  But with nutrition you can literally "blow" your weight loss plan by making the wrong choices in the evening despite the fact you worked out and ate well the rest of the day.

You may say things like "I eat healthy" and "I've tried everything" all the time.  

One scenario is you may have tried many diets and fads which work in the short term but usually you end up gaining the weight back and then some.

The other scenario is you think you are eating healthy enough but are doing things with your nutrition that are sabotaging your efforts.

Or another scenario might be you have triggers with your mindset that constantly knock you off track keeping you stuck.

Good nutrition coaching creates a process that develops SOLID habits and mindsets that lead to PERMANENT SUCCESS.

This process puts you in control of your food instead of your food controlling you.

10 Corinthians 10:13 says "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

Many nutrition "breakdowns" happen because of giving into temptation.

  • Temptation to medicate your stress with food and/or alcohol
  • Temptation to reward yourself with food
  • Temptation to "people please" others by eating what they want you to
  • Temptation to make the easy choice because it is harder to make something healthy

In my 26 years of personal training I can honestly say NUTRITION is the hardest part for the vast majority of our clients.
