Don't Return To Your Vomit In 2022!

Proverbs 26:11 addresses a BIG reason many people never seem to have the success they want.  It says..."as a dog returns to its vomit, so fools repeat their folly."

Too often we stay attached to things and methods that aren't helping us move forward. We find ourselves repeating the same mistakes over and over hoping for a different result.  

I once had a client who insisted her Weight Watchers plan was working despite the fact that she was still 30+ pounds overweight and hadn't lost weight in the 5 years I had known her.

No matter what I tried to say, she was willing to "die on the hill" that Weight Watchers was working even though her results showed otherwise.

And then there's the client who was so married to "low carb" eating, she was paranoid of eating ANY carbs.  Somehow, she managed to pack on over 50 pounds during Covid.  Go figure.

I'm sure we all have "vomit" we keep returning to.  Vomit that is keeping us stuck in certain parts of our lives.

I don't know about you, but I want my 2022 to look different than the previous years.  

Truth is, wishing or hoping is not going to make 2022 different.  Staying attached to the same systems and methods is not going to make 2022 different.  Not being honest with yourself about what you're doing is not going to make 2022 different.

Are you good with where you are at or are there areas of your life that need to change?

Fitness is the top area people want to improve in the new year.

Changing how you look and feel is at the top of the list.

Sadly, by February, 80% of people have thrown in the towel.  They've lost sight of their goals, their goals have become unreachable, and they find themselves in the same old "vomit."

In my opinion, one of the biggest reasons people don't stick with it is not having a well designed plan.

You can never get SPECIFIC results with a RANDOM approach.

Every year people repeat this foolishness hoping it will change.

It doesn't.

Make 2022 the year you quit returning to the "vomit" of the same old same old that continues to get you NOWHERE.
