What do you think about yourself?

Philippians 4:8 says: "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."

Are you a positive thinker?  Or too often to you gravitate towards thoughts like...

"I'm too old"...
"I'm too out of shape"...
"My metabolism is broken"...
"I could never do that"...

This type of thinking is not honorable or true. It's a story you are telling yourself.

Just because you think it is true doesn't mean it is. But the truth is - the more you continue to think limiting thoughts,  the more likely you are to create "self-fulfilling prophecies."

In my 27 years of personal training, I've seen amazing things happen when people focus and believe in themselves.

Things like...

  • My client, Susan going from being wheelchair bound to walking a 5K!  (This is truly an amazing story - let me know if you'd like to watch the story and I'll send you the link!)


  • My 80 year dad going from using a walker to hiking around the Black Hills on a turkey hunt in just 5 months - and he's still thriving and living his best life.


  • An obese woman who started out with over 150 pounds to lose to competing in a bodybuilding show!

These are just a few of the amazing stories I have been blessed to witness in my career.   

These people all had one thing in common.  They didn't accept their circumstances and give in to self limiting beliefs.

They visualized what they wanted and made it happen.

I turn 50 at the end of May.  Instead of buying into the common theme of "you're old and need to take it easy," I have some aggressive goals to hit by my big birthday.

There is still a lot of fight left in me.  How about you?

Is it time for you to prove that you are still "in the fight?"

Hitting a BIG goal is a great way to do that.  It creates real momentum in ALL areas of your life and proves that YES you are still in this fight and are nowhere near done.

You can still accomplish BIG things.
